Marking a exceptional, 2021 has had us witnessed the first sdp kogi state zonal meeting in Anyingba kogi state. The meeting being the first of its kind to kick start all party arrangement in the east was ably attended by majority representatives from the east and media outfit to give the meeting a wider coverage. During the seating, the seating, the zonal chairperson by the name Pastor Sunday Atabor retreated commitment to serve in it's fullness and in his capacity as the east zonal chairperson. He commended the efforts of the eastern leasers of the party particulalarly the most senior officer Dr. Arome Okeme who he said has been very instrumental in growing the party alround the east and in an extension to the state.
Very commendable, the state secretary Okeme Arome said ''We continue to stand by the leadership of our vice chairman, Hon Sunday Atabor, as he continues to work towards enlarging our coast in the east''. The state secretary further stated in these words ''God bless the SDP, Kogi East.God bless SDP Kogi state,God bless SDP, Nigeria''
According to the assistant publicity secretary Mr Rafel ''Various Local Government was supported with funds donated by Dr. Arome Okeme the State Secretary SDP and the Zonal Chairman Pastor Sunday Atabor, to encourage the party at the local level'',
He also noted that the meeting which Started about 10:am prompt African time was brought to a close at about 2:30pm with a closing remark "GO PREACH RURAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO THE GRASS ROOT LEVEL AND GO PREACH SDP".
